The existing roof of the parking garage was demolished and replaced with new steel trusses, from which a new intermediate floor is suspended using steel tension rods. The horizontal ties of the trusses, spanning the atrium, are also composed of steel tension rods. The new floors consist of a timber framework with composite dovetail floors.
